...ATTACK OF THE BASEBALL CARDS is celebrating our 30th year in the hobby in 2012...ATTACK is current running 30th Anniversary Celebration Contests on our ATTACK OF THE BASEBALL CARDS Facebook Page......a Thanksgiving Weekend PACK WARS part of ATTACK'S 30th Anniversary In-Store Celebrations will take place on Saturday, November 24th....ATTACK'S 30th Anniversary Pack Wars took place in May with sponsorship & support from several card companies. LEAF, PANINI, PRESS PASS, TOPPS & UPPER DECK were among the manufactures providing prize support as well as from master distributors GTS of Pa.

Thanks to all our great customers and to everyone at Upper Deck, especially Chris Carlin & Mike Phillips. "Donnie Baseball" was at the site filming an instructional video. He did stop by ATTACK & signed some autographs for us!...A BOX BREAK is held almost every Saturday or Sunday at 1:00pm...KIDS CARD DAY (or NITE) is held from time to time at ATTACK. Kids get to play in three events (card flipping, Pack Wars and Topps Attax). The kids get FREE PACKS & can win prizes!!!...1986 World Champion NY Mets pitcher Bobby Ojeda was the first celebrity to visit Attack's new location...We are looking for some of our former customers: Bruce G. from Millburn, George R. from Union, Debbie B. & Sam from Westfield, Richard S. from Linden, Steve N. from Union, Dave C. from Belleville. He became the forth former player to visit ATTACK's Milltown Road location. ATTACK promoted 1st first ever NJ signing back on January 16, 1988. It was great seeing him again!!!...Attack will hold a our 2nd FREE APPRAISAL DAY soon. Nationally known autograph expert Mike Kushner will help by giving free verbal appraisals of autographs, cards, card collections & memorabilia that day...we now have an EBAY STORE! You can checkout everything we have in our weekly auctions & our new BUY IT NOW items all on Ebay in the ATTACK OF THE BASEBALL CARDS...Jets coach Rex Ryan stopped by Attack just to look around...


ATTACK SUSPENDS ALL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN

We regret to announce that all of ATTACK OF THE BASEBALL CARDS (Union NJ) In-Store Contests, Give-a-ways, DoorPrizes and Programs are now strictly limited to those 17 years of age and older with no exceptions. This includes all Fantasy Sports Contests and those provided by Sports Leagues, Card Manufacturers and Players Associations. Those 16 years old and younger will only be permitted to attend Pack Wars if accompanied by an adult. ATTACK'S SUMMER ESSAY CONTEST, FREE CARD COLLECTING SEMINARS & GOOD STUDENT PROGRAM have been ended. Any outstanding Good Student Dollars must be redeemed no later then December 31, 2012. After that date they will expire with no compensation...



                                            


...BEST MUSIC ON THE RADIO (sorry, it's NOT RAP or HIP HOP) is on Everything Old Is New Again. It's on WBAI at 99.5 FM every Sunday night from 9pm-11pm. Radio personality is David Kenney who grew up in Iselin. David plays Jazz, Swing, Standards, Showtunes & Cabaret and does great Give-a-ways. Great singers like Nancy LaMott, Tom Andersen, Michael Feinstein & Judy Garland. It's the best way to end your long weekend. I listen every week! I've had a great time when they've asked me to appear on their radio show three times (follows Howard Stern in the mornings) to talk about the sportscard & memorabilia industry. Thanks also to all the listeners who called in to ask me questions. A great national sports columnist, Eddie was a close friend of the Yankees &     Phil Rizzuto. His wedding to Allison was the    first wedding ever held at home plate in Yankee Stadium.  Word is that Penny Marshall is doing a screenplay for a major motion picture based on Eddie's life. Eddie has been blind since a baseball injury (accident) when he was a child...We Miss You Scooter - Rest Peacefully as the heavens now hear the echo of "HOLY COW"...We're now doing Ebay Consignment. Get chance to get some extra cash to spend in the store & get rid of cards you don't want.
